Job summary

Delfino Lounge in England is seeking a committed Sous Chef to join our kitchen team, part of the Loungers family. This full-time role offers competitive pay, overtime, and clear progression.

You’ll support the Head Chef, lead the team through each service, and ensure every dish leaving the pass meets our standards for quality, pace, hygiene and safety.

Take ownership of prep, par, stock control and shift handovers, coach colleagues, and help develop talent as we grow across England and Wales.

Qualifications

• Experience as Sous Chef, Junior Sous Chef, or Chef de Partie and ready for next step.
• Proven ability to lead a kitchen team and maintain high standards.
• Reliable, punctual and able to work under pressure.

Responsibilities

• Lead kitchen shifts with confidence, ensuring smooth service from prep to final plate.
• Be the Head Chef's right hand, supporting day-to-day operations and stepping in as needed.
• Set the tone for high standards on the pass with focus on food quality, pace, cleanliness, hygiene and safety.
• Take ownership of prep, par, stock control, waste, orders and effective shift handovers.
• Coach and support the team to help new and existing chefs grow and deliver great food.
