Job summary

Loungers plc is hiring a full-time Sous Chef for Panadero Lounge, a local café bar within the Loungers family. You will lead kitchen shifts, support the Head Chef, and ensure every dish leaving the pass meets high standards.

Qualifications

Experience leading kitchen shifts and teams in a busy kitchen.
Strong focus on high standards of food quality, pace and cleanliness.
Knowledge of stock control, waste management, and shift handovers.
Able to coach junior chefs and develop skills on the pass.

Responsibilities

Lead kitchen shifts with confidence, ensuring service runs smoothly from prep to final plate.
Support the Head Chef and cover in their absence when needed.
Set and maintain high standards on the pass for quality, pace and safety.
Own key routines: prep, par, stock, waste, orders and handovers.
Coach and develop the team to consistently deliver great food.
