Loungers plc at Valero Lounge is recruiting a full-time Sous Chef to join our kitchen team. You’ll lead shifts, support the Head Chef, and ensure every dish leaves the pass with pride.

This is an ideal next step for an experienced hospitality sous chef, junior sous chef, or chef de Partie. Qualifications

Experience as Sous Chef or Junior Sous Chef.
Ability to lead kitchen shifts and supervise a team.
Commitment to high standards of food quality, pace, cleanliness and safety.
Reliable and punctual with strong work ethic.

Responsibilities

Lead kitchen shifts with confidence from prep through to final plate.
Be Head Chef’s right hand, supporting day-to-day operations and covering in their absence.
Set the tone for high standards on the pass with attention to food quality, pace, hygiene and safety.
Take ownership of key kitchen routines including prep, stock control, waste and shift handovers.
Coach and support the team to develop skills and deliver great food every shift.
