Job summary

Cultivo Lounge, part of Loungers, is hiring a full-time Sous Chef to lead the kitchen team and support the Head Chef. You’ll work across service, ensuring every dish leaves the pass with pride. This is a great step for an experienced hospitality sous chef, junior sous chef or chef de partie ready to progress.

We offer a competitive base salary with bonus, paid overtime, progression opportunities and staff benefits. 48-hour contract with options for 40 hours.

Responsibilities

• Lead kitchen shifts with confidence, keeping service smooth from prep through to the final plate
• Be the Head Chef’s right hand — supporting day-to-day operations and stepping up in their absence
• Set the tone for high standards on the pass, with a sharp eye for quality, pace, hygiene and safety
• Take ownership of key routines including prep, par, stock control, waste, orders and effective shift handovers
• Coach and support the team to build confidence and deliver great food every shift
