Job summary

wagamama in Croydon is seeking a full-time sous chef to lead shifts and support the kitchen team, ensuring every dish is made to order with energy and flavour. You will work with management to run a vibrant kitchen, coach staff, and uphold high standards.

You’ll love developing others, planning cover, and managing food safety, gross profit, stock, and labour costs while celebrating team successes and driving continuous improvement.

Qualifications

• Experience in managing the line and planning shifts.
• Knowledge of food safety standards including gross profit, stock and labour costs.
• Ability to train and develop others while maintaining high standards.

Responsibilities

• Run a vibrant, high‑performing kitchen with the management team.
• Lead the kitchen to ensure every dish is fresh, bold and full of flavour.
• Support and develop the kitchen team so they feel seen and proud.
• Nurture your team to grow and meet targets.
