Job summary

National Highways is recruiting for a Lead Service Manager to drive DevSecOps delivery and cloud initiatives across the Infrastructure & Platforms domain. The role combines strategic governance with hands-on delivery leadership in a hybrid working model, requiring two days in the office and occasional travel across the UK.

The role requires strong Agile experience, mastery of cloud platforms, and proven ability to manage budgets and cross-functional teams to deliver critical transport digital

Qualifications

• Extensive knowledge of cloud compute hyper-scalers (e.g. MS Azure, AWS).
• Proven ability to manage a service provider DevSecOps delivery team to achieve sprint velocity and key outcomes.
• Strong understanding of Agile and ADO principles and processes.

Responsibilities

• Deliver strategic outcomes using DevSecOps capabilities within Infrastructure & Platforms.
• Manage full lifecycle of new deliveries from scoping to funding to delivery.
• Lead a team including Senior Service Delivery Manager / Product Owner and coordinate with a third-party supplier.
• Manage the budget for the DevSecOps practice and run contracts.
