Job summary

A leading infrastructure contractor in Kent is hiring a Senior Quantity Surveyor to join the commercial team on a major long-term programme. You will take responsibility for commercial management of significant work packages and provide leadership across the project.

You will lead on applications, valuations, payment processes, CVRs and monthly financial reporting while managing cost-to-complete, forecasting, change control and commercial risk.

Qualifications

• Significant civil engineering, infrastructure or major construction project experience.
• Experience with main or specialist contractors.
• Strong cost control, forecasting and change management knowledge.

Responsibilities

• Lead commercial management across major work packages.
• Manage applications, valuations and payment processes.
• Prepare CVRs and monthly financial reports.
• Manage cost-to-complete and forecasting.
• Lead change control and variation management.
• Identify and manage commercial risk.
• Oversee full subcontract lifecycle and procurement.
• Provide commercial advice to Project Manager and delivery team.
• Mentor junior commercial staff and support strategy.
