Systems Engineering Lead

A fantastic opportunity has arisen for a Systems Engineering Lead to join a department to assist with a range of strategically important activities.

Key Responsibilities

• Supporting programmes in their use of current and emerging systems engineering processes, methods and tools.
• Promoting best practice to improve efficiency and consistency across UK projects.
• Shaping systems engineering approaches in line with customer expectations, technology capability and supplier performance.
• Providing education, training and consultancy-style support across key programmes.
• Supporting the development of team members as they build their systems engineering capability.
• Assessing and enhancing the use of core systems engineering techniques.
• Influencing systems engineering approaches for new business and during programme phase transitions.
• Collaborating with internal partners across UK sites and international counterparts to align systems engineering processes.
• Managing stakeholder relationships across the life‑cycle of projects.
• Possessing broad systems engineering experience covering the full lifecycle.
• Understanding and applying state‑of‑the‑art systems engineering methods on major projects.
