Job summary

Saffron Housing Trust Ltd in Norwich is seeking a Senior Site Manager to take ownership of residential developments from start to finish. You will lead site operations, manage subcontractors and resources, ensure programmes and budgets stay on track, and deliver outstanding customer satisfaction.

Responsibilities include leading day-to-day site management, coordinating resources, ensuring safety, quality, and NHBC compliance, and delivering completed homes on time.

Qualifications

• Proven experience as a Senior Site Manager within a volume housebuilding environment.
• Strong leadership with ability to develop and manage high-performing teams.
• Excellent planning, organisational, communication, and problem-solving abilities.
• Good understanding of construction processes, build sequencing, health and safety legislation, and NHBC requirements.

Responsibilities

• Lead day-to-day management of a residential development, ensuring health, safety, quality, and site presentation.
• Own build programmes and budgets, driving projects to meet production targets and deadlines.
• Manage subcontractors, suppliers, and site teams to deliver work safely and to spec.
• Coordinate site operations, resources, materials and labour to achieve build quality and customer satisfaction.
• Ensure compliance with planning requirements, building regulations, NHBC standards and company policies.
• Carry out inspections, oversee plot handovers and deliver finished homes.
