Job summary

Saffron Housing Trust Ltd in Norwich is seeking a Senior Site Manager to own residential developments from start to finish. You will lead day-to-day site operations, manage subcontractors and resources, and drive programmes and budgets to deliver quality homes and superb customer satisfaction.

The role requires proven volume-housebuilding experience, strong leadership, planning and communication skills, and a solid understanding of build sequences, health and safety, NHBC standards, and planning

Qualifications

• Proven experience as a Senior Site Manager within a volume housebuilding environment.
• Strong leadership, planning and organisational abilities.
• Excellent communication and problem-solving skills.
• Good understanding of build sequencing, health and safety legislation and NHBC requirements.
• Valid CSCS Card, SMSTS and First Aid certifications and a full UK driving licence.

Responsibilities

• Lead day-to-day management of a residential development, ensuring health, safety, quality and site presentation.
• Own build programmes and budgets, driving projects to meet production targets and deadlines.
• Manage and motivate site teams, subcontractors and suppliers to deliver safe, efficient and compliant work.
• Coordinate site operations, materials and labour to achieve high-quality finishes and customer satisfaction.
• Ensure compliance with planning requirements and NHBC standards; maintain company policies.
• Carry out inspections, oversee plot handovers and deliver finished homes to customers.

We're looking for a Senior Site Manager to take ownership of residential developments from start to finish. You'll lead site operations, manage subcontractors and resources, ensure programmes and budgets stay on track, and play a key role in delivering outstanding customer satisfaction.

What You'll Be Doing:

• Leading the day-to-day management of a residential development, ensuring the highest standards of health, safety, quality, and site presentation.
• Taking ownership of build programmes and budgets, driving projects forward to meet production targets and delivery deadlines.
• Managing and motivating site teams, subcontractors, and suppliers to ensure work is delivered safely, efficiently, and to specification.
• Coordinating site operations, resources, materials, and labour to achieve exceptional build quality and customer satisfaction.
• Ensuring compliance with planning requirements, building regulations, NHBC standards, and company policies.
• Carrying out inspections, overseeing plot handovers, and delivering outstanding finished homes for customers.
