Job summary

NMS Recruit Ltd t/a Russell Taylor Group is seeking a Project Architect or Architectural Technologist for residential projects in Cheshire / North West. You will take ownership from concept through to delivery, working on a varied portfolio of high-quality schemes.

Requires 4+ years' experience, strong Revit skills, good knowledge of UK planning procedures and Building Regulations, and experience running projects with clients and contractors. Driving licence preferred.

Qualifications

• Minimum of 4 years' experience in architectural/construction industries.
• Strong experience working on residential projects.
• Excellent working knowledge of Revit and construction documentation.
• Good understanding of UK planning procedures and Building Regulations.
• Experience producing detailed technical information and tender documentation.
• Experience running projects and managing own workload.
• Good communication with clients, contractors and consultants.
• Valid UK driving licence and access to own vehicle.

Responsibilities

• Develop residential projects from concepts through planning and technical design.
• Produce architectural drawings and technical details using Revit.
• Prepare and submit UK planning applications.
• Develop detailed construction information and project documentation.
• Write specifications and produce tender information.
• Manage tender processes and liaise with contractors and stakeholders.
• Run own projects and coordinate design processes.
• Liaise with clients, contractors and consultants; conduct site visits.
• Collaborate with design team to deliver high standards; travel to sites as required.
• Contract administration experience would be advantageous.
