Job summary

Russell Taylor is seeking an experienced Architectural Technologist to join their design-led practice in Greater Manchester. The role focuses on developing and coordinating technical information across Residential, Commercial and Education projects, taking concepts through to buildable solutions.

You will collaborate with architects, consultants and project teams, ensuring high-quality technical delivery while driving design details using Revit and NBS specifications.

Qualifications

• 5+ years post-qualification experience in the UK.
• CIAT registration or equivalent qualification.
• Proven experience in detailed design and technical delivery.
• Strong Revit experience.
• Knowledge of BIM Level 2 would be advantageous.
• Good working knowledge of NBS and construction standards.
• Thorough understanding of Building Regulations and Building Safety Act.
• Ability to solve technical problems and develop buildable solutions.
• Excellent communication and collaborative skills.

Responsibilities

• Develop and coordinate detailed architectural and technical information.
• Lead elements of the detailed design process through to construction.
• Translate design concepts into practical, buildable solutions.
• Coordinate information with internal teams, consultants and other project stakeholders.
• Produce and develop detailed drawings using Revit.
• Manage and respond to design changes throughout project delivery.
• Ensure information complies with construction standards and legislation.
• Apply knowledge of Building Regulations and Building Safety Act.
• Work collaboratively within a team.
• Contribute to a supportive, team-focused environment.
