Job summary

Russell Taylor is seeking an experienced Project Architect or Architectural Technologist to own projects from concept through to delivery, with a focus on residential work.

You will use Revit to develop designs, coordinate with clients and contractors, and ensure compliance with UK planning procedures and Building Regulations. The role offers ownership of workloads and opportunities for career progression within a collaborative team.

Qualifications

• Minimum of 4 years' experience in architectural/construction industry.
• Strong experience with residential projects.
• Excellent working knowledge of Revit.
• Good understanding of UK planning procedures and Building Regulations.
• Experience producing technical/construction information and tender documentation.
• Experience running projects and managing own workload.

Responsibilities

• Develop residential projects from concept through planning and technical design.
• Produce architectural/technical drawings using Revit.
• Prepare and submit UK planning applications.
• Develop detailed proposals per Building Regulations.
• Prepare construction information and project documentation.
• Write specifications and tender information.
• Manage tender process and liaise with contractors and stakeholders.
• Take responsibility for running own projects and coordinating design.
• Liaise with clients, contractors and consultants.
• Conduct site visits to monitor progress and resolve design/technical issues.
• Work collaboratively with the design team and travel to sites as required.
