Job summary

NMS Recruit Ltd t/a Russell Taylor Group is seeking a Senior Architectural Technologist for Manchester, to lead detailed design on large-scale industrial schemes and take ownership of projects from concept to construction. You’ll work within a well-resourced studio in a role offering autonomy, technical leadership and room to shape your career.

You will utilise strong Revit skills, manage projects through RIBA Stages 3–6, and collaborate with structural and M&E consultants.

Qualifications

Proven experience as a Senior Architectural Technologist in industrial/logistics sectors.
Strong Revit skills.
Experience with large steel-frame construction desirable.
Track record of running projects independently through detailed design.
Strong technical detailing and buildability knowledge.
Excellent communication with clients and project teams.
HNC/HND or degree in Architectural Technology (or equivalent).

Responsibilities

Lead detailed design on large-scale industrial, manufacturing, logistics, retail and data centre schemes.
Manage projects independently through RIBA Stages 3–6, coordinating with clients, consultants and contractors.
Produce and oversee technically robust design packages, with focus on large steel-frame construction.
Work with structural, M&E and other consultants to resolve complex detailing.
Mentor and support junior technologists as the team grows.
Contribute to evolving standards and processes as the business scales.
