Job summary

Radis Community Care is seeking an experienced Registered Service Manager to lead our Coventry-based Supported Living service for adults with mental ill health and/or learning disabilities. You will oversee day-to-day operations, ensure safety, quality and regulatory compliance, and foster a compassionate, person-centred culture.

In this role you will lead a skilled staff team, partner with mental health professionals, manage risk and care planning, and promote independence and community living

Qualifications

• Previous experience as a Registered Manager, Deputy Manager or Service Manager within a care setting.
• Experience of supporting adults with mental health needs and / or learning disabilities
• A strong understanding of safeguarding, risk management and positive behavioural support.
• Experience of managing dynamic, potentially complex environments and challenging situations
• Excellent leadership, communication and organisational skills.
• Experience of managing teams with a strong culture of responsibility and accountability.
• A confident decision maker whilst maintaining a person-centred approach.
• A commitment to advocating for the rights of those we support
• Experience of both managing building based and multi-site services
• A relevant management qualification, such as Level 5 in Leadership and Management for Adult Care, or a willingness to work towards this.

Responsibilities

• Provide strong, visible leadership and ensure the service operates in line with regulatory best practice including CQC.
• Oversee day-to-day management of a 19-apartment supported living scheme.
• Lead and develop a skilled, motivated and accountable staff team.
• Monitor quality through audits, supervision and reviews; drive continuous improvement.
• Ensure service is inspection ready and compliant with reporting protocols.
• Manage resources: recruitment, staff deployment, training and development.
• Collaborate with mental health practitioners, social care professionals and commissioning teams.
