Job summary

Sanctuary Personnel is seeking an experienced Registered Manager in Darlington to lead a children's home. You will oversee placements, ensure high-quality care, and drive safeguarding and regulatory compliance in a full-time role.

Responsibilities

• Develop a culture within the service that aligns with the organisation's values, ensuring a supportive environment for children and young people with diverse needs.
• Lead referrals to the home and make placements decisions with support from the Responsible Individual.
• Collaborate with agencies to develop transition plans involving complex planning.
• Provide leadership to a team delivering high-quality care and ensure staff are equipped with the tools and knowledge for success.
• Oversee the care planning process with involvement from families and professionals to create person-centred plans.
• Ensure compliance with legal frameworks and organisational policies to empower young people to exercise choice and control.
• Promote a therapeutic and trauma-informed approach and collaborate with professionals to enhance care quality.
• Maintain robust safeguarding, risk management, and quality assurance systems to meet regulatory standards.
