Job summary

Spire Carehome for Children is seeking a Registered Children's Home Manager to lead the day‑to‑day operation of the residential home for children with complex needs. You will create a safe, nurturing environment and support staff to deliver high‑quality, individualised care.

The role combines leadership, care planning, quality oversight and partnership working, with a focus on safeguarding, trauma‑informed practice and regulatory compliance. Gravesend, Kent, in‑person delivery is required.

Qualifications

• Five years' experience in an Ofsted-regulated children's care setting.
• Proven experience leading and supporting a team.
• Experience with medication administration procedures.

Responsibilities

• Manage the daily operation of the home in a safe, nurturing environment.
• Lead, supervise and support staff, promoting child-centred practice.
• Oversee care planning and review progress regularly.
• Prepare weekly reports for the placing authority.
• Ensure safeguarding practices and regulatory compliance.
