Job summary

WSP in the UK & Ireland is seeking a Track Engineer to lead the technical delivery of rail projects across the UK, Ireland and overseas. The role involves working from London, Manchester or Birmingham offices as part of the Rail Engineering Services team.

You will mentor engineers, coordinate designs using Bentley OpenRail Designer and Civil3D, and contribute to the development of design processes while upholding health and safety standards.

Qualifications

• Knowledge of track engineering for heavy and light rail schemes.
• Experience delivering projects to various standards including Network Rail.
• Full lifecycle delivery from feasibility to detailed design and implementation.

Responsibilities

• Lead on project delivery as Lead Designer on rail schemes.
• Support the Track team in Birmingham, London or Manchester.
• Mentor and develop junior engineers and staff.
