Job summary

WSP in the UK & Ireland seeks an Engineer/Senior Engineer – E&P – Fixed Plant to lead and support the rail engineering team on a range of projects in the UK and internationally. The role focuses on managing Fixed Plant design across lifecycle stages, delivering within budgets and schedules, and mentoring junior engineers.

You will join a team delivering rail infrastructure with an emphasis on standards, safety and collaborative delivery across multiple stakeholders.

Qualifications

• Experience in delivery of more than one area of the railway Fixed Plant discipline.
• Experience across the full project lifecycle from feasibility to detailed design and implementation.
• Ability to manage multiple workstreams and make practical delivery decisions.

Responsibilities

• Lead the Fixed Plant aspects within multi-disciplinary teams for rail projects.
• Oversee development of Fixed Plant designs across all design stages.
• Provide technical advice to internal disciplines and clients.
• Manage client and stakeholder relationships to achieve project outcomes.
• Possible CRE roles in accordance with NR/L2/INI/02009.
• Mentor Early Career Professionals.
