Job summary

WSP in the UK & Ireland is seeking an Engineer/Senior Engineer – E&P – Fixed Plant to lead and support Rail Engineering Services on diverse UK and international projects. You will oversee Fixed Plant development, guide multi-disciplinary teams, and ensure delivery on time and within budget.

You will mentor Early Career Professionals, apply industry standards, and collaborate with clients and internal disciplines. A chartered engineer or progress toward chartership is expected.

Qualifications

• Experience delivering Fixed Plant design across lifecycle.
• Experience delivering multiple areas within rail engineering.
• Chartered engineer or working towards chartership in rail.
• Ability to mentor early career professionals.

Responsibilities

• Lead Fixed Plant within multi-disciplinary teams and resolve complex problems.
• Coordinate development of Fixed Plant designs across all design stages.
• Provide technical advice to internal teams and clients.
