Job summary

VolkerFitzpatrick is part of VolkerWessels UK, delivering civil engineering and building services across rail, highways, airports and educational buildings. We are seeking a Managing Quantity Surveyor to lead commercial performance, ensure profitability and manage risk from project inception to completion.

You will work closely with project teams and senior stakeholders to develop commercial talent, drive value and ensure successful project delivery on high-profile schemes.

Qualifications

• Accredited professional qualification with RICS, CIOB or ICES.
• Degree with numerical or technical background is advantageous (HND in building/construction, urban/land studies, civil/structural engineering).
• Experience as an Assistant QS or QS is desirable.

Responsibilities

• Lead the commercial success of high-profile construction and infrastructure projects.
• Take ownership of contractual performance, profitability and risk management from inception to completion.
