Job summary

VolkerWessels UK Limited, through VolkerFitzpatrick, is hiring a Managing Quantity Surveyor to lead commercial delivery on major infrastructure projects in the Anglian Water AMP8 framework. Based in Peterborough, the role demands leadership of commercial teams and robust governance of NEC contracts.

The successful candidate will drive value, manage risks and opportunities, and work with stakeholders to ensure project success across tens to hundreds of millions of pounds in value.

Qualifications

• Significant experience at senior/managing level on major infrastructure projects.
• Strong NEC3/NEC4 contract knowledge.
• Proven track record leading commercial teams.
• Experience delivering projects valued from tens to hundreds of millions.
• Excellent stakeholder management and negotiation skills.
• Proactive commercial acumen to identify risks and opportunities.
• Experience with framework delivery environments and collaborative contracting.
• Degree in Quantity Surveying or related discipline.
• Membership of RICS/ICES or working towards chartership.
