Job summary

Energy Jobline ZR seeks a Principal/Lead Process Engineer for our hybrid UK office. You will guide process design for wastewater projects, oversee calculations and data sheets, and liaise with the project design team to deliver compliant, efficient solutions.

You will collaborate with electrical and mechanical teams, manage stakeholder expectations, and drive safe, high-quality designs compliant with current standards and CDM guidelines.

Qualifications

• Degree in wastewater process science/engineering or related subject.
• Experience in wastewater process engineering on large scale projects.
• Strong communication and stakeholder management skills.

Responsibilities

• Design wastewater solutions and sewerage systems to meet water company goals.
• Oversee process calculations, hydraulics, unit processes, pump and capacity calculations.
• Prepare technical data sheets and bid analyses for third party equipment.
• Communicate with stakeholders to ensure delivery of technical excellence.
• Escalate time/cost/quality risks early and maintain HS&E standards.
• Maintain interfaces with other engineering teams to ensure smooth handoffs.
