Finlay Jude Associates Ltd, via FJA, is seeking an experienced Principal/Lead Process Engineer to join the Peterborough office, supporting the Anglian Water region with hybrid working. The role provides technical leadership across wastewater schemes and collaborates with design teams to deliver compliant process solutions.

The ideal candidate will have a degree in wastewater process science or related field, significant wastewater process engineering experience, and strong knowledge of CDM and

Qualifications

• Degree in wastewater process science or related engineering field.
• Significant experience in process engineering within wastewater.
• Experience delivering solutions on large-scale water/wastewater projects.
• Strong knowledge of wastewater treatment processes and sewerage systems.
• Experience producing process calculations, hydraulics, mass balances and capacity assessments.
• Experience developing technical schedules, data sheets and engineering specifications.
• Strong understanding of CDM requirements and industry standards.
• Experience reviewing third-party designs and undertaking bid analysis.

Responsibilities

• Provide technical direction and engineering leadership to process engineers across water and wastewater projects.
• Report to Head of Engineering and provide technical support across non-infrastructure schemes.
• Develop and review process calculations, hydraulics and data sheets.
• Work with design teams to deliver cost-effective process solutions.
• Ensure designs comply with legislation, standards and engineering requirements.
• Oversee outputs and ensure deliverables meet quality and time targets.
• Support health and safety objectives through compliant designs.
