Job summary

WSP Global Inc. in the United Kingdom seeks a senior process engineer to lead design work for capital projects in chemicals, pharma and related industries. You’ll establish client requirements, deliver design solutions, and supervise a team of engineers.

As Lead Process Engineer, you will coordinate interfaces, perform HAZOP/LOPA and safety reviews, and contribute to cost and time estimates. Willingness to travel within the UK and overseas is expected.

Qualifications

• Degree qualified in chemical engineering.
• Chartered Engineer, MIChemE desirable.
• Process safety training e.g. HAZOP, Hazardous Area Assessment, SIL etc.

Responsibilities

• Lead process design work for projects and studies, including concept design and PFDs/P&IDs.
• Coordinate interfaces with other disciplines and support design reviews.
• Perform HAZOP/LOPA and safety reviews; contribute to process safety.
• Develop cost and hours estimates for proposals and projects.
• Act as Lead Process Engineer on selected projects, managing other engineers.
