Job summary

WSP is seeking an experienced Senior Waste Water Process Engineer to join our Water Engineering teams across the UK, including Birmingham, Bristol, Manchester, Liverpool, London, Newcastle or Glasgow. You will contribute to feasibility through detailed design and procurement support on wastewater and water reuse projects.

You will lead process design deliverables, perform option studies and mass balances, attend site visits, advise clients, and supervise junior staff.

Qualifications

• Chemical or Environmental Engineering degree or MSc (or equivalent).
• Professional registration as CEng (or working towards Chartership within 12 months).

Responsibilities

• Produce Process Design deliverables such as optioneering studies, process calculations, mass balance, P&IDs and basis of design for projects.
• Undertaking outline or detailed process engineering design.
• Attend site visits for data acquisition and to meet site operators.
• Provide technical input to procurement and support Project Managers in client discussions.
• Lead multi-disciplinary meetings and liaise with technology providers and vendors.
