Job summary

WSP in the UK & Ireland is seeking a seasoned Clean Water Process Engineer (Principal to Associate Director) to join our Water Engineering teams across the UK. You will deliver process design content for water and water reuse projects, from feasibility to detailed design, collaborating with multidisciplinary teams and engaging with clients and vendors.

The role requires substantial experience in municipal water projects, strong technical leadership, and the ability to travel to operational sites

Qualifications

• Chemical or Environmental Engineering degree or MSc.
• Professional registration as CEng (or working towards Chartership within 12 months).
• Significant experience in delivering process engineering design aspects on infrastructure projects.
• Experience in the municipal water industry.

Responsibilities

• Produce Process Design deliverables including optioneering, mass balance, P&IDs and basis of design to achieve optimum solutions.
• Undertake outline or detailed process engineering design.
• Attend site visits for data collection and interactions with operators.
• Provide technical input to procurement and supplier discussions.
• Support Project Managers in technical discussions with clients.
• Lead multi-disciplinary meetings and act as technical representative with external clients.
