Job summary

WSP is seeking a Senior Waste Water Process Engineer to join our Water Engineering teams across the UK, including Birmingham, Bristol, Manchester, London, and Glasgow. You will lead process design deliverables for wastewater and water reuse projects, supervise junior staff, and coordinate with multidisciplinary teams.

The role includes liaising with clients and technology providers to ensure timely, cost-effective solutions.

Qualifications

• A Chemical or Environmental Engineering degree or MSc (or equivalent).
• Professional registration as CEng (or working towards Chartership within 12 months).

Responsibilities

• Produce Process Design deliverables such as optioneering studies, process calculations, mass balance, P&IDs and basis of design reports.
• Undertaking outline or detailed process engineering design.
• Attending site visits for data acquisition and meeting site operators.
• Provide technical input to the procurement process.
• Support Project Managers in technical discussions with clients.
• Liaison with technology providers and vendors.
• HAZOP, HAZID, ENVID, SWIFT attendance.
• Provide technical guidance and supervision of junior staff.
• Collaborate with other disciplines to deliver multi-disciplinary projects on time, cost, and quality.
