Job summary

Boots UK is recruiting a Registered Pharmacy Technician to support Pharmacists and the healthcare team in delivering safe, accurate dispensing and patient-centred care. You will work across primary and secondary care settings within Boots' pharmacy environment, developing your career through an industry-leading Accuracy Checking Programme and continuous professional development.

Qualifications

• Registered Pharmacy Technician with the GPhC and ACC qualification.
• Customer-focused and able to deliver high standards.
• Able to lead dispensing team within a multi-disciplinary healthcare environment.
• Digitally savvy and open to learning new technologies.
• Willing to pursue Boots' Accuracy Checking Programme.

Responsibilities

• Support Pharmacists and healthcare professionals to ensure safe delivery of pharmaceutical services.
• Oversee the dispensing team and provide guidance to the healthcare team.
• Inspire the team to deliver patient-centred care and support training.
• Participate in training and development initiatives.

About The Role

As an expert in the supply of medicines and accuracy checking, your role will be to support Pharmacists and other Healthcare professionals to ensure the safe and efficient delivery of pharmaceutical services.

By working with both Primary and Secondary care health professionals, you’re key to helping us change for the better in the local community

You will help oversee and inspire the healthcare team to deliver patient-centred care, and you will support the on-track training of support team members, trainee technicians and trainee pharmacists.

What You’ll Need To Have

• Registered Pharmacy Technician with the Pharmacy Regulator (GPhC) with the recognised Accuracy Checking Qualification
• A passion for patient and customer care
• Ability to deliver high standards efficiently.
• Comfortable overseeing the dispensing team and offering support to the wider Healthcare Team
• Able to work as part of a multi-disciplinary team
• Digitally knowledgeable and comfortable with navigating and embracing new technology
• Embrace continuous learning so we can work together to develop you in your role
