Job summary

ZeroAvia is advancing hydrogen-electric propulsion for civil and defence aviation. We seek a Fuel Cell Stack Engineer to lead LTPEM stack development, driving performance and integration readiness while collaborating with suppliers and cross-functional teams.

You will contribute to design reviews, validation activities, and documentation control, shaping the next generation of hydrogen-aircraft propulsion. A strong background in PEM stacks and aerospace systems is essential.

Qualifications

Deep PEM fuel cell stack expertise and electrochemistry knowledge.
Experience integrating fuel cell stacks into safety-critical aerospace systems.
Strong fuel cell testing and data-analysis capability.
Experience managing requirements, interfaces and compliance documentation for regulated products.
Ability to provide technical leadership across supplier management and design reviews.
Proficiency with LabVIEW, Polarion and DIAdem tools.
Familiarity with ARP4754B requirements processes and traceability.
Experience with Teamcenter PLM or similar systems.

Responsibilities

Lead supplier management and development for LTPEM fuel cell stack programmes, ensuring on-time delivery and quality.
Act as technical expert for LTPEM fuel cell stack, supporting design reviews for interfaces and balance-of-plant systems.
Support test teams in diagnosing, troubleshooting, and resolving stack performance issues.
Own and maintain fuel cell stack equipment documentation, including requirements, interfaces, compliance evidence, and design records.
