Job summary

DO & CO is seeking a Pastry Chef de Partie to join our luxury airline catering team in London. You will lead a pastry section, ensure high-quality outputs, and maintain DO & CO standards under pressure.

The role requires excellence in pastry techniques, strong knife skills, and clear English communication within a collaborative kitchen that operates seven days a week, including evenings and holidays.

Qualifications

• Demonstrated experience as a Pastry Chef de Partie in high-volume kitchens.
• Exceptional knife skills and precision in pastry preparation.
• English communication and teamwork in a diverse kitchen environment.

Responsibilities

• Produce pastry following DO & CO standards.
• Lead a team and schedule pastry production.
• Motivate the team to adapt to busy periods and last-minute changes.
• Plan production to the daily schedule and maintain DO & CO quality.
• Coordinate production, preparation and presentation of meals per menu.
• Monitor inventory and coordinate with Purchasing for orders.
• Drive continuous improvement and OTIF performance.
• Ensure adherence to SOPs, safety and food safety requirements.
