Job summary

DO & CO is seeking a Pastry Chef de Partie to join its luxury airline catering unit in London. You will lead pastry sections, follow the Head Pastry Chef’s schedule, and maintain DO & CO quality at peak efficiency in a high-volume environment.

The role requires strong knife skills, creative pastry design, and excellent English communication. The Production Kitchen operates seven days a week, including evenings and holidays, with an emphasis on teamwork and continuous improvement.

Qualifications

• Experience as a Pastry Chef de Partie in high-volume kitchens.
• Excellent knife skills and pastry technique.
• Ability to design and adapt pastry items to trends.
• Strong English communication and teamwork.

Responsibilities

• Lead pastry sections and follow Head Pastry Chef/Sous Chef schedules.
• Plan production to daily schedule while maintaining quality.
• Coordinate and present meals per menu specs.
• Monitor inventory and coordinate with Purchasing.
• Ensure quality control and cost control.
• Uphold SOPs, health and safety standards.
