Job summary

East and North Hertfordshire Teaching NHS Trust is seeking an Advanced Oncology Pharmacist - Electronic Prescribing to lead the strategy, design and development of the EP system for Systemic Anti-Cancer Therapy (SACT). You will maintain the EP system, electronic referrals and PROs, and provide expert leadership for all SACT EP activities at Mount Vernon Cancer Centre.

Qualifications

• Master's Degree in Pharmacy required.
• Registered with GPhC as a pharmacist.
• Post graduate diploma in pharmacy practice or equivalent.
• Registered independent prescriber.
• BOPA Passport - completion of adult level 2c.

Responsibilities

• Lead and manage Electronic Prescribing (EP) strategy, design and development for SACT.
• Maintain EP system, electronic referrals and patient reported outcomes for SACT.
• Provide leadership for all aspects of SACT EP and support oncology services at MVCC.
• Develop policies to ensure safe medication practices in electronic prescribing.
