Job summary

East and North Hertfordshire Teaching NHS Trust is recruiting a Band 5 Electronic Prescribing Support Pharmacy Technician at Mount Vernon Cancer Centre. You will support EP configuration and training for cancer therapy services and work with a dedicated team to deliver high-quality patient care.

You must be registered with the GPhC, hold NVQ3/BTEC in Pharmaceutical Sciences, and have experience with Wellsky and EP systems. A 37.5-hour week and a 15% High Cost Area Supplement are included.

Qualifications

• NVQ3 or BTEC in Pharmaceutical Sciences or equivalent.
• Registered with GPhC as a pharmacy technician.
• Experience with Wellsky dispensing system and electronic prescribing.

Responsibilities

• Support development, configuration, testing and management of EP for SACT.
• Provide helpdesk support and train pharmacy, nursing and prescribing staff.
• Participate in dispensary, stock control and chemotherapy desk duties.
