Job summary

Salendine Nook High School is seeking a highly motivated Lead Practitioner of Mathematics to join our successful Mathematics department. This role focuses on coaching, mentoring and modelling exemplary practice to raise teaching standards and student outcomes.

You will work with the Head of Mathematics and Key Stage Leads to drive professional development, use assessment data to identify priorities, and lead quality assurance activities while supporting Early Career Teachers and trainee staff.

• Outstanding Mathematics teacher with a passion for the subject and high expectations.
• Experience in coaching, mentoring and modelling exemplary practice.
• Ability to lead professional development and use assessment data to drive improvement.

Responsibilities

• Lead coaching and mentoring across the Mathematics team.
