GE Vernova's Power Conversion & Storage business seeks a Lead Controls and Automation Engineer to deliver control system projects for Marine, Offshore and Naval applications. You will design, implement and test automation solutions, collaborating with a multi-disciplinary team to meet classification society requirements.
You will generate design and test documentation, interface with customers and suppliers, perform FATs and support sea-trials, and travel as needed.
Formación
- Degree in Electrical, Electronics or Industrial Control Systems Engineering or equivalent
- Experience designing and integrating control & automation project solutions
- Good understanding of PLC programming
- Knowledge of industrial communication protocols (Modbus, OPC-UA, Profibus, Profinet)
- Unrestricted Right to Work in the United Kingdom
Responsabilidades
- Deliver control system projects for Marine, Offshore and Naval applications
- Design, implement and test controls and automation solutions
- Produce design, installation, and test documentation
- Interface with customers, classification societies, and suppliers
- Perform FAT and support commissioning and sea-trials activities
- Travel to vessel sites as required
