Job summary

Randstad Construction & Property in Guildford, UK, is seeking an experienced General Foreman to supervise major civil engineering packages on-site. You will report to the Site Agent and champion a safety-first culture across multiple supervisor teams and subcontractors.

The role requires a strong civils background and prior work in water/wastewater projects, ideally within AMP frameworks. You will lead site activities in a challenging Tier 1 environment and drive on-time delivery to program.

Qualifications

• Tier 1 civil engineering experience is essential.
• Strong supervisory progression track record.
• Experience with water/wastewater sector is advantageous.

Responsibilities

• Package Delivery: supervise and deliver complex civil works to programme.
• Direct teams of supervisors and subcontractors while enforcing HSEQ standards.
• Coordinate with TWC to supervise live temporary works on-site as TWS.
• Maintain 4-week lookahead in line with master programme and provide progress updates.
• Keep digital site records, diaries, and compliance sheets up to date.
• Engage stakeholders professionally, including asset owners and engineers.
