Job summary

Randstad UK is seeking an experienced Site Engineer for a major Wastewater Civils project in the Surrey region near Guildford. The role reports to the Site Agent and focuses on quality, safety, and program delivery on-site.

The ideal candidate will have a strong Tier 1 civils background, be fully autonomous with setting out using Total Station and GPS, and hold relevant site qualifications. Experience with AMP water frameworks is highly desirable. This is a contract role outside IR35.

Qualifications

• Tier 1 civils background with strong site delivery.
• Water sector AMP experience desirable.
• Autonomous setting out with Total Station and GPS.
• Thorough HSEQ knowledge for civils delivery.
• Strong documentation and daily reporting skills.

Responsibilities

• Setting out & surveying with Total Station and GPS.
• QA: assist ITPs, QA processes.
• Review drawings; raise RFIs and TQs with evidence.
• Plan upcoming works and 4-week look-ahead.
• Provide engineering support to subcontractors.
• Manage permits to work and ITPs.
• Attend program reviews and design meetings.
