Job summary

Randstad CPE seeks an experienced General Foreman for our Guildford site to supervise major civil engineering packages within a Tier 1 contractor framework. You will report to the Site Agent and drive delivery, safety and quality on a busy water/wastewater project.

The role requires a strong civils background, proven supervisory progression, and a drive to maintain a safety-first culture on site in the UK water sector.

Qualifications

• Proven Tier 1 civils background on major packages.
• Pathway to supervisory/foreman roles with clear progression.
• Experience in water/wastewater assets desirable or AMP framework.

Responsibilities

• Package delivery: supervise and deliver complex sections safely and on program.
• Lead and manage supervisors and subcontractors on site.
• Oversee Temporary Works with TWS and ensure compliance.
• Maintain 4-week lookahead and contribute to progress reviews.
• Manage digital site records, diaries, and compliance sheets.
• Build professional relationships with asset owners, clients, engineers and community reps.]
• Core civils: safe work around live buried services, drainage, excavation, RC structures.
