Job summary

Ganymede Solutions Ltd. is seeking an experienced General Foreman / Foreperson to join a major UK water framework in Ewshot. You will oversee daily site operations, manage supervisors and subcontractors, and ensure safe, quality-driven delivery in line with the programme and HSEQ standards.

You will work closely with the Site Agent and project team to drive progress, coordinate lookahead schedules, and maintain accurate site records while leading a proactive, collaborative site culture.

Qualifications

• Experience with Tier 1 contractors in civil engineering, water, utilities, or heavy civils.
• Ability to manage multiple supervisors, subcontractors and site operatives.
• Knowledge of live services, excavations, drainage, and reinforced concrete works.
• IT literate with capability to complete site documentation and digital reporting.
• Full UK driving licence required.

Responsibilities

• Oversee daily site operations and coordinate supervisors, subcontractors, labour, plant and materials.
• Support Site Agent with daily delivery, progress reporting and programme updates.
• Work to 4-week lookahead schedules and main construction programme.
• Maintain accurate site records: diaries, allocations, inspections, and online check sheets.
• Ensure temporary works are identified, planned and implemented with TWC.
• Lead toolbox talks and promote HSEQ and wellbeing standards.
• Motivate site teams to maintain a positive working environment.
• Ensure compliance with company procedures, permits, quality standards and safety requirements.
