Job summary

Ganymede Solutions Limited is seeking an experienced General Foreman / Foreperson for a major UK water framework. The role involves overseeing daily site operations, coordinating supervisors and subcontractors, and ensuring safe, timely delivery in line with programme and HSEQ requirements.

You will work with the Site Agent to drive progress, manage lookahead schedules and maintain accurate site records. A strong background in civil engineering, water, utilities or heavy civils, plus a valid UK

Qualifications

• Experience delivering civil engineering, water, utilities or heavy civils projects.
• Ability to manage teams of supervisors, subcontractors and site operatives.
• Full UK driving licence required.
• IT literate with site documentation and digital reporting.

Responsibilities

• Supervise and deliver sections of work safely, on time and to required standards.
• Coordinate supervisors, subcontractors, labour, plant and materials on site.
• Support the Site Agent with daily delivery, progress reporting and programme updates.
• Work to 4-week lookahead schedules and the main construction programme.
• Maintain site records including diaries, allocations, inspections and online check sheets.
• Supervise temporary works and co-ordinate with TWC to ensure requirements are identified and implemented.
• Conduct site inspections, lead toolbox talks and uphold HSEQ and wellbeing standards.
• Lead and motivate site teams to maintain a positive working environment with stakeholders.
• Ensure compliance with company procedures, permits, quality standards and safety requirements.
