As part of our Emergency Response Team, you’ll be the first on the scene at customers’ homes, representing our brand for those worried about potential gas escapes or carbon monoxide alarms.
You’ll sometimes coordinate with emergency services, playing a vital role in protecting lives. The role involves assisting vulnerable, elderly, or customers seeking help, combining empathy with pride in ensuring their safety. Your duties vary daily, including installation, replacement, and maintenance of gas meters for residential and commercial clients, conducting high-rise and safety surveys, and fitting cooker safety valves.
We seek excellent communication skills and the ability to remain calm under pressure. Candidates must hold a CCN1 or CMA1 qualification; a MET1 qualification is advantageous but not essential. Experience with gas appliances, testing, purging, and pipework commissioning is required. An understanding of relevant standards, legislation, codes of practice, and health and safety is important.
