As part of our Emergency Response Team, you’ll be the first on the scene at customers’ homes, making you the face of our brand for people worried about potential gas escapes or carbon monoxide alarms.
You may deal with emergency services on behalf of our customers, protecting lives. The role involves empathy and pride in caring for people and ensuring their safety in their homes. Responsibilities include installation, replacement, and maintenance of gas meters for both residential and commercial customers, conducting high-rise and safety surveys, and fitting cooker safety valves.
Excellent communication skills and ability to stay calm under pressure are essential. Candidates must have a CCN1 or CMA1 qualification; a MET1 qualification is beneficial but not required. Experience in a gas environment, knowledge of gas appliances, testing, purging, and pipework commissioning are necessary. Understanding of standards, legislation, and health and safety is important, along with a full UK driving license. We value pride, purpose, quick thinking, and ownership.
