Job Description
As part of our Emergency Response Team, you’ll be the first on the scene at customers’ homes, which makes you the face of our brand for people worried about potential gas escapes or carbon monoxide alarms.
You’ll sometimes deal with emergency services on behalf of our customers, protecting lives and providing assistance to vulnerable, elderly, or those seeking help. Your empathy and pride in caring for people and ensuring their safety could make you a valued member of our team.
The role is varied: from installation, replacement, and maintenance of gas meters for residential and commercial customers, to conducting high-rise and gas safety regulation surveys, and fitting cooker safety valves.
We seek excellent communication skills and the ability to stay calm under pressure. Candidates must have a CCN1 or CMA1 qualification; a MET1 qualification is beneficial but not essential. Experience in a gas environment, including knowledge of gas appliances, testing, purging, and pipework commissioning, is required.
An understanding of standards, legislation, codes of practice, and health and safety is important. A full UK driving license is also necessary. We value pride, purpose, quick thinking, and ownership, which make you a good fit for our team.
If you don’t meet every requirement, we still encourage you to apply. We support learning and development through our programs and tools to help you grow your skills at Cadent.
We offer a competitive salary based on experience, along with a comprehensive benefits package.
Network Plus is proud to be an Equal Opportunity Employer. We celebrate diversity and do not discriminate based on protected characteristics.
We are Armed Forces-friendly and welcome applications from ex-Armed Forces personnel, reservists, veterans, cadet instructors, and military spouses/partners.
We respect your privacy and the security of your personal information. By applying, you agree to our privacy policy.
