Sainsbury's is seeking an experienced Food Manager to lead a busy food hall, coach colleagues to the highest standards, and drive exceptional customer service. You will oversee performance and discipline, while ensuring daily operations run smoothly and customers leave satisfied.

Qualifications

Track record of delivering exceptional customer experiences and coaching others.
Experience leading teams in dynamic, customer-facing environments.
Leadership in high-volume, fast-paced operations in retail or hospitality, delivering for customers.
Proven success delivering KPIs across sales, stock availability, customer satisfaction and engagement.
Experience managing complex people matters with fairness and confidence.

Responsibilities

Role modelling and coaching for high standards and efficiency across the whole food hall.
Managing compliance to processes while delivering passion for shop keeping and customer service.
Ensure customers get the food they want when they shop with us to be the first choice.
People management including performance, capability, disciplinaries, scheduling and pay accuracy.
Occasionally assume overall responsibility for running the store with direction and support for the team.
