Stantec in the United Kingdom is seeking an Associate Fire Engineer to lead fire engineering strategies across a diverse project portfolio, from concept to handover. You will act as a technical authority, guide design teams, and oversee modelling inputs, while managing client relationships and contributing to bids.

This role emphasizes leadership, mentoring, and building strong technical standards within a growing fire engineering capability across a national platform.

Formación

• Experience delivering fire engineering strategies for complex buildings.
• Experience with modelling tools such as FDS, PyroSim, Pathfinder or similar.
• Confident communicator, able to present technical information clearly to clients and stakeholders.
• Experience working within a consultancy environment on multidisciplinary projects.
• Able to lead projects, manage client relationships, and provide technical direction.
• Experience mentoring engineers and supporting team development.
• Interested in contributing to business growth and work-winning activity.
• Degree in Fire Engineering or a related discipline.
• Chartered Engineer (CEng) or working toward chartership with IFE or equivalent.

Responsabilidades

• Lead the delivery of fire engineering strategies across projects from concept through construction and handover.
• Act as technical authority on projects, guiding design teams and modelling inputs.
• Manage client relationships, lead meetings and advise on strategy.
• Contribute to bids and identify opportunities to expand the service offering.
• Develop people, mentor engineers and contribute to technical standards.
