Job summary

Stantec is seeking an Associate Fire Engineer to lead fire engineering strategies across projects from concept to handover on a national UK platform, with hybrid working from any UK office, including Gloucester. You will guide design teams, model inputs, and ensure regulatory-aligned, practical solutions while developing client relationships and supporting bids.

As a senior technical authority, you will mentor engineers, shape standards, and contribute to the growth of our fire engineering

Qualifications

• Strong experience delivering fire engineering strategies for complex buildings.
• Experience with modelling tools such as FDS, PyroSim, Pathfinder or similar.
• Confident communicator, able to present technical information clearly to clients and stakeholders.
• Experience working within a consultancy environment on multidisciplinary projects.
• Able to lead projects, manage client relationships, and provide technical direction.
• Experience mentoring engineers and supporting team development.
• Interested in contributing to business growth and work-winning activity.
• Degree in Fire Engineering or a related discipline.
• Chartered Engineer (CEng) or working toward chartership with IFE or equivalent.
