Job summary

Reevr is seeking an experienced Software Engineering Manager to own the software function in a specialised engineering business. You will combine technical leadership, software architecture, hands-on development and team growth to influence the technology roadmap.

You’ll lead a small software team, collaborate with hardware and engineering teams, and drive architecture, quality and regulatory compliance across complex electronic systems.

Qualifications

• Proven experience delivering complex software or control-system solutions.
• Strong software architecture and development experience.
• Experience with C, C and/or C#; embedded software background.
• Excellent leadership and stakeholder management skills.

Responsibilities

• Own the software strategy, architecture and technical roadmap.
• Lead and develop a small internal software team and external partners.
• Remain hands-on with embedded software and control systems.
• Work across C, C and C#.
• Drive development across control software, HMIs, automation and fault diagnosis.
• Lead software/hardware integration with wider engineering teams.
• Own the software lifecycle from requirements through deployment and commissioning.
• Establish development standards, coding practices and architectural best practice.
• Champion quality, testing, traceability and regulatory compliance.
• Manage technical risks, project roadmaps and delivery.
• Support existing products whilst shaping the next generation of technology.
