Job summary

Reevr Talent Ltd is seeking an experienced Software Engineering Manager to own the software function within a niche engineering business creating advanced electronic systems. You will merge technical leadership, software architecture and hands-on work while guiding the team’s growth and shaping technology direction.

You’ll lead a small software team and collaborate with hardware and engineering functions to deliver technically demanding products.

Qualifications

Proven experience delivering complex software or control-system solutions.
Strong software architecture and development experience.
Experience with C, C and/or C#.
Background in embedded software, control systems or complex engineering products.

Responsibilities

Own the software strategy, architecture and technical roadmap.
Lead and develop a small internal software team and external partners.
Remain hands-on with embedded software and control systems.
Work across C, C and C# for project delivery.
Drive development across control software, HMIs, automation and fault diagnosis.
Lead software/hardware integration with wider engineering teams.
Own the software lifecycle from requirements to deployment.
Establish development standards and architectural best practice.
Champion quality, testing, traceability and regulatory compliance.
Manage technical risks, roadmaps and delivery schedules.
