Job summary

Reevr in the United Kingdom is seeking a Senior Mechanical Design Engineer to own the mechanical design process from concept through to production. You will collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to deliver robust, manufacturable solutions for high-performance systems.

You will contribute to design reviews, take ownership of complex components, apply DFM/DFA principles, and mentor junior engineers in a collaborative, innovation-driven environment.

Qualifications

• Proven experience in mechanical design engineering.
• Degree or equivalent in Mechanical Engineering or related discipline.
• Strong 3D CAD skills, ideally SolidWorks.
• Experience designing complex mechanical products.
• Knowledge of DFM/DFA, tolerancing and manufacturing processes.
• Experience taking designs through prototyping, testing and production.
• Strong problem-solving skills and ownership of projects.

Responsibilities

• Develop mechanical designs from concept through manufacture.
• Produce detailed 3D CAD models, assemblies and manufacturing drawings.
• Design complex mechanical components and assemblies.
• Apply DFM/DFA principles to ensure manufacturability.
• Support prototyping, testing and design verification.
• Work with manufacturing and suppliers to resolve design and production challenges.
• Contribute to design reviews and provide technical guidance to junior engineers.
